A rubber coat for you shoes in rain, by SWIMS

Extra traction for slippery surfaces
- The sole of each City Slipper has the map of either New York, Paris or Tokyo
- Pull on/off grip and the soft siliconpad on the sides makes it very convenient.
- Flexible design to fit almost any heel height and thickness due to flexible material and construction
- Low-Cut style is for shoes with bows and buckles
The sole is just as brilliant as the coat.

The secret to "shout out"

I wear my "shout out" T-shirt to any event. I would put the event name and date on it. And it always catches people's attention. The secret is... (dun, dun, dun) THIS T-SHIRT!

ABC Super Soap Weekend
the view

Colin Egglefield came up with this concept, I first saw it at the MAGIC Show, when the booth was selling the T-shirt off the show for $35. The T-Shirt comes with a spazz bag fill with vinyl letters. The shirt itself has a area made of fleece for the vinyl letters to stick. Cool ideas, huh? You can get it at this website!

Can a handbag be your hanger???

The answer is Yes! You can find them from a Japanese studio http://www.eatableofmanyorders.com/. Use them as hangers or handbags! How marvelous is that!
wooden hanger leather bags

Likes: again, the concept of combining two functional things.
Dislikes: the wood handle is a bit too chunky to me. (i'm a little person)

Maison Martin Margiela Convertible Beach Bag

I like this idea of converting something to a functional bag. But wait, almost functional, because you can't put anything in it if you are going to use it as a beach towel? But, clever idea.

Class Project: How to re-construct a used binder

Step: Sketch

Step: tear apart the existing binder, save the cardboard for this project, and others for another projects. Digging through scrap fabrics, and cut strips (any size) from them, use the "rose" method to make tons of roses (enough to cover the cover).

Step 3: Make two pattern sheets, and cut out the fabrics. Glue the cardboard to the pattern sheet. Glue the exterior fabrics to the pattern sheet. Fix all roses on top by hand sew. Glue the interior fabric to the other pattern sheet. Sew pockets onto the interior. Glue the finished exterior part and finished interior parts together. Sew around the edges. Fix the hardware. And walah. You have a brand new binder!

How to turn an umbrella into a bag

Inside Out Umbrella
Inside Out UmbrellaInside Out Umbrella
Designer: Seung Hee Son
Likes: The bag catches the water from the umbrella after the rain. No dripping water on the floor. Easy to carry on a public transportation.
Dislikes: Another bag to carry on top of gazillions of them women normally have. May take a long time to dry from inside. Not usable as a bag.
